That profound burnout became the gateway to my true awakening.
Inheriting a successful 40-year family business in international recruitment seemed like an obvious next step after my MBA. Yet, every morning brought the same internal conflict: a disconnect from the work and an inability to force motivation for a path that was never truly mine.
Desperate to discover my own path, I stepped into Corporate Communications and Public Relations. Instead of clarity, I found a relentless, high-pressure grind. The grueling hours and non-stop demands rapidly drained my energy, leaving me burned out, physically exhausted, and more lost than ever before.
That was when I was introduced to Vanita.
That profound burnout became the gateway to my true awakening, discovering that our highest calling is to understand life at a soul level and cultivate the Ten Greatest Qualities within ourselves. I shifted my entire focus inward. In the transformative field of the Tao Calligraphy Light Wall, I began tracing Greatest Love and Greatest Forgiveness. By actively working on my inner self, I finally released years of accumulated emotional residue.
Guided by Vanita, I then enrolled in the Tao Signature Soul Healing program to empower myself to become a Tao Hands Practitioner. I began offering daily Tao Hands blessings for my career. Shortly after, I was asked to handle yet another major client on an already overflowing plate at work. I broke down. What felt like the ultimate breaking point, however, turned out to be a divine gift in disguise.
I had trained as a yoga teacher years prior, but only viewed it as a hobby. Sensing a deep internal calling, I brought the idea to Vanita. She encouraged me to embrace it as a full-time career. Within two weeks, I mustered the courage to resign, without a safety net.
Vanita’s mentorship was instrumental during this pivot. She not only anchored my confidence but also helped me land my very first Yoga client.
“It is a complete 180-degree shift from my MBA and my original career plan, yet it feels more fulfilling than anything I have ever done.”
Today, I am actively building my Yoga practice, helping myself and loved ones through Tao Hands Healing, and pursuing a Diploma in Yoga Psychotherapy. It is a complete 180-degree shift from my MBA and my original career plan, yet it feels more fulfilling than anything I’ve ever done.
Today I cannot imagine my life without Tao Hands and Vanita Madam as my mentor. Her belief in me gives me the strength to align with my soul’s true calling, and for that, I am forever grateful.
